BUFFALO, N.Y. — Tuesday’s are for food trucks in Buffalo.
Out at Larkin Square, they are preparing for the return of the event and celebrating 10 years of Food Truck Tuesdays.
It's a smorgasbord of tasty treats. This year's roundup includes a rotation of 20 different trucks stretching from the square down to Flying Bison Brewing Company.
The 10-year celebration of Food Truck Tuesdays will include live music and different trucks heading down to Jefferson Avenue throughout the summer to extend the event to the East Side community.
Organizers say they're still surprised at the success of the free event and are excited to see what this year will bring.
“We couldn't have imagined 10 years ago what Food Truck Tuesdays and the neighborhood as a whole as we come," said Kayla Zemsky, vice president of Larkin Development. "Now Tuesdays are really a neighborhood-wide celebration. You'll find more trucks at Flying Bison, you can bring your food into Hydraulic Hearth, Buffalo Distilling and some of our new retailers, including Magic Bear Beer Cellar as well.”
The fun begins at 5 p.m. Tuesday.
