BUFFALO, N.Y. β The Buffalo Museum of Science is filled with historic artifacts, has a space where you can dig up pretend fossils and now visitors can see real fossils from Antarctica.
Walking through the exhibit is like a trip back in time, millions of years ago, in a lost world where you come face to face with prehistoric creatures.
Begin your Jurassic journey traveling to Antarctica and digging for fossils of these giant animals and study how they lived millions of years ago.
Make your way through canopy tents where you can dive into the prehistoric past and immerse yourself into a world where you come face to face with dinosaurs big and small that roamed the earth and learn which animals alive today are closely related to these colossal creatures.
The traveling exhibit started in Chicago and will be in the Queen City until September. Science museum officials say this exhibit has been a big hit with visitors of all ages.
"It is our pleasure to bring something like this to our community," said Kathryn Leacock, the museum's deputy director. "We are the place, you know when you think of dinosaurs, hopefully, you think of the Buffalo Museum of Science. And we're just pleased that our community is responding in the way that they are.β
