BUFFALO, N.Y. — It’s a countdown to Christmas at Explore and More in Buffalo, with plenty of holiday-themed festivities available for the whole family.

On Saturday, they are kicking it off at 10:30 a.m. with a magical performance from Second Generation Theatre's production of Once Upon a Time, along with a special skate from the Snow Sisters at Buffalo RiverWorks.

If you stay until noon, and you can grab a coco with the Grinch and do some Christmas shopping at the Vendor Village.

On December 27, you can sign up for a special camp and take a look at holiday celebrations around the world, such as Hanukkah, St. Lucia Day, and Kwanzaa to break up the winter blues.

You can also ring in the New Year with a kid-friendly New Year’s Eve countdown at noon and 3:30 p.m. where there's a live DJ, face paintings and a magic show.

Organizers say these events are a perfect way to make sure kids keep active and keep learning during the long winter break.

Friday is the last day for Pay What You Can Week at the museum. For pricing information on these events, head to Explore and More’s website.
