NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. — If you're looking for something to do with the kids this weekend, the Aquarium of Niagara is ready for you.

Beginning Saturday, the aquarium will have extended hours until Labor Day. Sunday through Thursday, it will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and on Fridays and Saturdays, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The aquarium will also begin offering daily presentations, including its popular sea lion demonstration, as well as seal and penguin feeding sessions.

“Animal programs enhance the visitor experience and help guests make important connections with our animals,” Aquarium of Niagara president and CEO Gary Siddall said in a statement. “We are happy that can safely reintroduce public programming as we head into the summer season, and our extended hours allow us to accommodate guests who may not feel comfortable visiting during hours of peak attendance.”

The aquarium does ask that all visitors wear masks, regardless of vaccination status.
