The Erie County Fair will take place in 2021 after all.
On Monday, the Erie County Agricultural Society Board of Directors announced it would move forward with the fair this year. This comes following Gov. Andrew Cuomo's announcement that vaccinated people would be allowed to go without masks indoors starting on Wednesday.
The event is scheduled to take place from August 11-22.
Organizers say more details about this year's fair will be released in the coming days.
Like many events across the state, the Erie County Fair was canceled in 2020 due to the pandemic.
