ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Bills legend Jim Kelly is back on the gridiron this week in Orchard Park.
Kelly is hosting the 34th annual Jim Kelly Football Camp at Highmark Stadium.
More than 500 kids between the ages of 7 to 14 are taking part in the sold-out three-day camp led by the hall of famer.
Kelly says even after all these years, he still loves to come out and show kids the ropes.
"It's exciting because you think who these kids are out here, they're bams or juniors,” Kelly said. “Their grandfathers and grandmothers told them about me. It wasn’t mom or dad it was grandfathers and grandmothers. It is great. The kids, what they say, before all the chop talks, I get the whole Bills ‘Aye Aye Aye Aye.’ I mean, it was unbelievable yesterday how loud it was. And my favorite is of course Marv [Leavy]'s favorite, ‘where else would you rather be than right here right now at my football camp?’ So every day you come here I leave with a smile on my face."
The 34th annual Jim Kelly Football Camp wraps up on Friday.
Number 12 was asked about Bills' co-owner Kim Pegula and her health.
He says his thoughts and prayers are with the Pegula family as she battles an unspecified health issue.
