BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Bisons are back in Buffalo and Sahlen Field is ready for crowds to return on Tuesday.

The Bisons take on the Iowa Cubs on the 34th opening day at the ballpark.

Crews are getting everything picture perfect for the players as this marks the first time the Bisons have had an opening day in three years.

From delicious new morsels at the Pub at the Park to brand new uniforms, there’s plenty for fans to look forward to at the ballpark. They will be welcomed by new seating, upgrades to the batting cages and new lighting.

Officials say they can't wait to see all the faces of fans that have been coming to games for years.

“We're very excited to not only be back here in Buffalo, but to welcome some of our great fans that we haven't been able to see for the last couple of years," said Pat Malacaro, manager of baseball communications. "And that's something that I know a lot of us take a lot of pride in — in feeling like we're getting back to normal.”

The first pitch goes out Tuesday at 1:05 p.m.
