BATAVIA, N.Y. — Baseball could be returning to Batavia.

The city agreed to terms with CAN-USA Sports LLC, a company that owns minor league baseball and hockey teams in Elmira.  

CAN-USA wants to bring a minor league team ball team to Dwyer stadium.

Batavia was home of the Muckdogs and other New York-Penn League teams for generations. 

Major League Baseball shut down the league and contracted its minor leagues last year.
