BUFFALO, N.Y. — Home and business owners all over Western New York are waking up to wind damage from Sunday night's storms.

That goes for parts pf Buffalo as well, where crews cleaned up a lot of debris.

In some areas, down trees completely blocked streets.

A city of Buffalo spokesperson says forestry crews responded to about 55 downed trees Sunday night and they'll continue to take calls Monday morning. They advise drivers to keep an eye out as they might find more trees blocking roadways.

The city also says seven traffic lights remained out Monday morning and crews are working to get those fixed. Drivers are required to treat those areas as a four-way stop.

Officials also say the high winds brought down five street lights. Crews say those areas where the lights came down have been made safe.
