Bill Kapri, better known as rapper Kodak Black, is facing charges after being arrested in Western New York.
Customs and border patrol agents say he and several other men tried to cross into the U.S. over the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge.
Border patrol agents allegedly found marijuana and guns in their cars.
State Police were called in and arrested the men.
Kapri is charged with criminal possession of a weapon and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Officers say that none of the weapons brought across the border were legal in New York.
"The illegally possessed pistols coming into New York, and what changes the charges a bit is they're loaded, close proximity without being in a lockbox, so readily available to whoever wants to grab those weapons, so that ups the ante a bit with those charges," said Trooper James O'Callaghan, New York State Police Troop A.
The men were arraigned in the Town of Lewiston Court and are expected to return next month.
