The annual NYC Pride March took place Sunday. While it was mostly virtual for the second year in a row, there were still some in-person elements, including street fairs.

Among this year's grand marshals are actor Wilson Cruz, and activist and performer Ceyenne Doroshow.

This year's Pride theme was ‘The Fight Continues,’ honoring the progress that has been made in the community, as well as acknowledging the struggles LGBTQ New Yorkers still face today.

Among the in-person events for Pride on Sunday was a big street fair in the East Village.

PrideFest celebrated its 27-year anniversary of food, entertainment, and activities. The event actively works to highlight and promote LGBTQ vendors and businesses. People said they're excited to take to the streets this year, after in-person events were canceled last year.

Tents are also set up around PrideFest, for walk-in COVID-19 vaccines.

Meanwhile, the third annual Queer Liberation March drew big crowds in Manhattan.
