State Republican Committee Chairman Nick Langworthy has been to the White House before, but he said his Tuesday meeting with Donald Trump was different than the past.

The chairman and his wife spent more than an hour talking with the president. Langworthy said he can't give specific details about what they talked about.

However, he said Trump is very in tune with New York politics and they discussed upcoming congressional races. Langworthy said he wouldn't rule out the president campaigning in New York in targeted ways.
