CLEARWATER, Fla. — Thursday marks one month since 24-year-old Cristian Delgado was last seen in Clearwater.
The Clearwater Police Department is handling this case and is asking for the public’s assistance in finding him.
Delgado’s family says it’s unusual for him to go this long without contact, so they’re turning to the community for help.
The Clearwater Police Department has issued a missing persons flyer and shared to social media.
Delgado was last seen Feb. 6 wearing a blue hoodie in the area of Nursery Road and Belcher Road. Police said Delgado has no previous criminal history.
Family members said he took his electric bike and hasn’t been seen since. Delgado’s mom, Rosanna Fernandez called her son a “ray of sunshine” and just wants him home.
“We love him,” Fernandez said. “And if anybody out there knows of his whereabouts or knows anything about him, to please let us know because we miss him and we want Cristian back.”
The family has shared flyers in the community in person and to social media, they’ve also partnered with the non-profit ‘We are the essentials’, a group made up of former law enforcement and military service members to help in search and recovery of missing persons.
The nonprofit is offering a reward for anyone who may find the e-bike Delgado was last seen riding.
Anyone who finds the e-bike is asked to take a picture of it and contact them with a pinged location of where it was found.
Meanwhile, Clearwater police are asking anyone with information on Delgado to call them at (727) 562-4242.
