Two projects expected to generate more than $7 million for Genesee County have received final approval by the Genesee County Economic Development Center.

The first is the $3.3 million expansion of Graham Corporation in the City of Batavia. It would include the construction of a new radiographic testing building, which would be added onto its current manufacturing facility. According to the Genesee County Economic Development Center, the project is estimated to generate $1.2 million in local fiscal impact.

The second project is the renovation of the former Super 8 hotel's 54 units in Batavia. The project is estimated to generate $5.8 million in local fiscal impacts more than $40,000 annually in bed tax revenue for the county once the renovated hotel is ramped up.
