184th annual Erie County Fair gets underway in Hamburg

The 184th annual Erie County Fair got underway Wednesday in Hamburg. There are lots of new things this year for folks to check out.

The Erie County Fair became the county's largest county fair for the first time in 1970 with an attendance of 600,960. It is currently the country's third largest county fair.

A million people attend the 12-day event each year.

There’s a first for everything! Including being in the center of the “Wall of Death.”
