With the worst of the heat now over, the Buffalo Public Schools are transitioning back to a regular schedule this week

All students in pre-K through eighth grade had half days this past week due to the extreme heat in Western New York. Students were released three and a half hours earlier than their typical dismissal times.

No changes have been made to the New York state regents exam schedules, and the exams have not been canceled. High school students will be expected to report for their regularly scheduled regents exams next week.

The last day of school for students is Tuesday, June 25 and the last day for teachers is Thursday, June 27.
