With more than two decades in her profession, Kanaley was recognized for her vision to pool resources and dedicate a team to the issue, leading to the founding of the Council on Elder Abuse.

“I don’t know if you could tell from our CEO and the staff that we have here today, everybody has that same passion to do the right thing and to do the best we can for our clients,” said Kanaley.

Elder abuse can take many forms. Kanaley said she and her team are committed to meeting each client where they are, making them feel comfortable, and listening.
