As we continue to count down to the upcoming total solar eclipse on April 8, we aren't the only ones excited.

New York State Mesonet has launched a new website with weather data for the big day.

The site will offer real-time access to information from across the state. It will also include information on environmental variables like wind speed, solar radiation, temperature and relative humidity.

All this can be found at NYSmesonet.org/eclipse.

Officials say 55 of the state's Mesonet sites will experience totality on April 8.
