Nine months into construction of the new Buffalo Bills stadium and things are really starting to take shape.
A new time-lapse video shared at a recent meeting held by the Erie County Stadium Corporation shows all of the progress that has been made in Orchard Park to date. They also shared some new metrics on the project.
First, the project is on schedule. Steel and concrete are ongoing and a fourth crane will make its way to the site in a few weeks.
The project is satisfying 1 of 3 hiring metrics and minority-owned businesses are above the goal.
But service-disabled veteran-owned and women-owned businesses are not.
In terms of funding, the corporation released the next $250 million in state money for the next fiscal year. The state's investment now remains at $50 million.
The rest of the $1.5 billion project will come from the Bills.
