Ten students at Niagara University are heading to Las Vegas for the opportunity of a lifetime.

Students in Niagara University’s College of Hospitality and Tourism and Sports Management packed their bags to get hands-on experience at the Super Bowl this Sunday.

They are part of a Super Bowl Immersion program sponsored by the Las Vegas Super Bowl LVIII Host Committee and the NFL.

Students at the send-off say they are looking forward to the experience and know it will be a healthy balance of fun and hard work.

"It actually means a lot to me. I love football," said Isabella Chapman, a senior sports management major. "Being able to go work the Super Bowl, which is one of the biggest events ever, is amazing."

"More than traveling in hotels, I just like to help make people’s day," said Zahir Greene, a senior hospitality and tourism major. "That’s always been something about me. I just like making people smile."

Zahir said he plans to manage a hotel someday and Isabella’s dream job is to own a baseball team.
