Our parent company Charter has teamed up with D'Youville University to power their new esports arena.

The state-of-the-art facility has 10 gaming PCs and multiple new Xbox Series X consoles.

"Connectivity is key,” said Raj Mukherji, vice president of Northeast Vertical Sales, Spectrum Enterprise. “If you don't have the right bandwidth, you get lag in games and that can be an issue. So we're proud to be the sponsor and provide services for the games."

The team participates in the East Coast Conference in games such as Rocket League and Super Smash Bros.

The team started in 2020 with just four players, but now have a roster of over 20 students.

"It is huge growth,” said Mark Alicea, head esports coach, D'Youville University. “The opportunities for students, collegiate students and professionals is just tremendous."

The arena took over what was a vacant space in the school's campus center.
