Wednesday marks the the first day of the Niagara County Fair. Our Revathi Janaswamy is giving us a look at what to expect this year.

The 5-day Niagara County Fair, the largest youth fair in the state, features local events, live music, shows, contests, food, rides and more. You can also see animals including kangaroos, wallabies, camels and more.

There are also 4H youth events offered up by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Niagara County.

"The fair is kind of just an opportunity to educate the public on everything we do in those areas," Justin Rogers, executive director, Cornell Cooperative Extension and Niagara County Fair, said. "But we also have a fun fair experience to. It's a family oriented event. We are one of the largest youth fairs in NYS. There is a lot of action here. A lot to see, a lot to do."

The 2023 Niagara County Fair runs August 2 - 6. Tickets are $10 (Wed-Sat) and children 6 years old and under are free.
