Nothing screams summer like festivals, carnivals, races, games and some beautiful weather to go along with it.

Saturday kicked off one of the largest food festivals in the country.

The 40th-annual Taste of Buffalo is an event that draws crowds from all over.

The two-day event kicks off at 11 a.m. both Saturday and Sunday and ends Saturday at 9 p.m. and Sunday at 7 p.m.

Dozens of food and drink vendors have filled the streets of Downtown Buffalo to show off all the famous goodies the Queen City has to offer.

From fried foods to ice cream, wine slushies and more, there's something for everyone.

The Spectrum News 1 team is out of the festival to hand out some “swag” and check out all of the tasty food.
