BUFFALO, N.Y. — Quarterback Josh Allen has been named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week for a record-tying tenth time after his performance in a win against the Miami Dolphins. He completed 25-40 passes for 304 yards and 4 touchdowns, adding 77 rushing yards on 10 carries in the 32-29 divisional win.
Allen's performance was one of only three games all-time in which a quarterback threw for more than 300 yards and 4 or more touchdowns, while rushing for more than 75 yards. Michael Vick and Cam Newton are the only other QBs to ever accomplish the feat.
The Bills star also tied former Dolphins QB Dan Marino for most touchdowns in a players first five season with 171.
This marks the tenth time in his career Allen has been named Player of the Week, tying Jim Kelly for the most player of the week awards in team history.
The Bills will face the Chicago Bears on Christmas Eve.
