New Era is highlighting Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen as a leader both on and off the field.

Allen recently met with Abbie, a patient of Oishei Children’s Hospital. During her time there, Abbie looked up to the QB for inspiration. She got to meet her hero, play games, and even come up with a special handshake.

"When I look back at how this started, it's amazing to see how far things have come," Allen said. "That goes for my football career, and my relationship with Oishei Children's Hospital."

That meeting helps highlight Allen’s relationship with the hospital, which started when fans donated more than $1 million in memory of his grandmother, Patricia Allen.

Last week, Allen launched a new line of hats at New Era, which have already sold out.

A portion of all sales from the JA17 Collection will go directly to the Patricia Allen Fund at Oishei Children’s Hospital.
