EAST AURORA, N.Y. — A popular Western New York festival is ready to return for another year of food, fun and music in East Aurora.
Kelly Khatib is out at Knox Farm State Park as organizers get ready for the 2022 Borderland Music & Arts Festival.
The annual two-day event features everything from music and art to craft beer and draft horses. There are also craft vendors, food, art installations and displays and more. The event is headlined by top alt-rock bands The Flaming Lips and Portugal. The Man.
“Music is the root of this festival and you are going to see all kinds of it here this weekend,” festival organizer Dana Marciniak said. Borderland combines alt-rock, gospel, soul, country, folk, Americana, rock and more.
The 2022 Borderland Music & Arts Festival Runs Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 17 & 18. Gates open at 11 a.m. each day.
