ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — If you’re going to Highmark Stadium for the Bills home game Monday, you may want to go hungry.
Apologies in advance for making your mouth water, but there are several new food options this season.
There's pizza, La Nova chicken wings and the Shout, topped with a special sauce, provolone cheese and crispy onions. There will also be several other new items available in the club levels and suites.
The taco in a bag, which the Bills and Delaware North are calling "the Walking Taco," contains pulled pork, cheese, pickled onions and jalapenos, all inside of a Fritos chip bag.
Delaware North will also debut the "Chef's Test Kitchen" Monday night.
That stand, located in the east end zone, will have different specialty items specific to Buffalo that will be available at each game.
"We know the flavors of Buffalo,” Andy Altomare, general manager of Delaware North and Highmark Stadium, said. “We know it is much more than hot sauce and blue cheese that people have affiliation to Buffalo with. There is so much more to the culture here. We put that on display here."
The Bills and Delaware North say there are four new "market-style beverage" outlets. Last year, eight of these concessions stands were added to Highmark Stadium to improve speed of service.
Now with four additional "market-style beverage" outlets, the Bills and Delaware North say fans will be able to get drinks even quicker.
