BUFFALO, N.Y. — Prices are rising on everything from gas to groceries, but one thing you don’t have to pay for is a library card.

The Buffalo and Erie County Public Library offers a number of free programs to help out with the new school year.

For any parent that’s spent hours saying a math question louder and louder with each mistake, you know how frustrating homework can be.

Well, the library is here to help. They’ve got programs to not only help with homework, but you can borrow supplies as well.

“We have what’s called a Library of Things. It’s not just books,” Library Director John Spears said. “You can also check out things such as binoculars, fishing poles, musical instruments.”
