The Back-2-School Coalition of Hillsborough County encourages early immunization practices, promotes healthy lifestyle choices, increases parental engagement, and provides information regarding support services to assist uninsured/under-insured students and their families who are new to the Hillsborough County public school system.
These clinics serve students entering all grade bands who need a school physical, immunizations, and/or shot record updates for school enrollment. The events focus on new families moving to our area in preparation for the school year. If you know someone new to HCPS, please feel free to share the clinic information.
This year, there will be seven locations to choose from during July and August to ensure students can enroll in school:

Event includes:
• No-cost routine immunizations, COVID Vaccinations, and school physicals are offered by local health & medical partners
• No Cost Eye Exams, Dental Screenings & Hearing Screenings
• Access to programs and services offered by local community & health agencies.
To attend one of the clinics, you must go online and register at www.Back2schoolhealthclinic.org. In addition, your child(ren) must be eligible for medical services to attend one of seven locations: North Tampa, East Tampa, West Tampa, Central Tampa, Plant City, Ruskin, and Dover.
Must-haves:
- Please remember to bring a hard copy of your child(ren) 's shot record.
- A parent or legal guardian must accompany each child. Parents, please bring a picture ID; Legal guardians must have a picture ID and court documents.
- Sports, Head Start, or daycare physicals are not provided during these clinics.
