BUFFALO, N.Y. — A world-famous comedian is showing his own form of Buffalove as, when on the Shea's stage Sunday night, Dave Chappelle, at the end of his performance, told the crowd that the money from every ticket sold will be donated back to the city of Buffalo.
The sellout crowd generated roughly $250,000 in ticket sales.
The families of the victims of the Tops shooting were in attendance as guests of Chappelle.
Chappelle said he can related to the tragedy that has impacted the community. In August 2019, nine people were killed and dozens were injured in his hometown of Dayton, Ohio.
