BUFFALO, N.Y. — A new exhibit at the Buffalo Erie County Botanical Gardens is in full bloom and ready to bring on spring.

They’re kicking things off for the season with the special event and highlighting the sights and smells of spring.

Make your way down the stone path into 12 houses of daffodils, daises, hydrangeas and plants with vibrant reds and deep purples adding pops of color along the way.

There’s something for everyone during the exhibit, including a visit from the Botanical Bunny the Friday and Saturday before Easter and an Arbor Day celebration where you can learn about all the interesting plants at the Gardens, including one that’s between 300 – 400 years old.

Officials say it’s an event they wait for every year and they’re excited to welcome the community once again.

“You have we haven't been able to really smell those spring flowers smells like we did the past couple of years,” Shaunna Rospierski, Botanical Garden’s marketing manager, said. “So this is a really exciting time. We get to see people smiling faces and enjoying the exhibit and, you know, taking photos with their families and it's just a really special time.“

The Spring Flowers exhibit runs through April 24 for more information on tickets and prices head over to https://www.buffalogardens.com/.
