TONAWANDA, N.Y. — The Town of Tonawanda Police Department is launching a new feedback program called Cue-Hit.

Here’s how it will work.

Surveys will be sent through text messages. People will be asked to answer questions regarding their 911 call center experience. This will be for non-life threatening incidents.

Cue-Hit will also allow people to provide their own comments and feedback.

"In incidents of positive feedback, we definitely want to get that back to our officers and let them know they've done a nice job and if it’s constructive, we want to learn from it, we want to improve," said Tonawanda PD Captain Joseph Milosich.

It is important to note that these surveys should not be used to report any type of emergency or crime.

The Town of Tonawanda Police Department anticipates rolling this new service out early next month.
