LOCKPORT, N.Y. — All schools in the Lockport City School District are shifting to a remote learning model for the rest of this week.

This comes as the Lockport Police Department investigates a string of threats toward the district that were made, recently causing multiple schools to close this week and last week.

District leaders say this move will not only allow officials to further investigate these threats but will also help further safety measures at each individual school.

The district will decide if classes will be remote next week by Friday afternoon.
