BUFFALO, N.Y. — Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen thanked fans who donated to make the Patricia Allen Pediatric Recovery Wing at Oishei Children's Hospital possible.

Allen got a tour of the wing on Monday.

More than $1 million was donated last year after fans learned Allen's grandmother died.

"I'm so grateful to have this honor and to have my grandmother memorialized like this,” said Allen. “I'm so indebted to this great community and the city of Buffalo."

The wing includes a playroom named the "Bills Fans Fun Zone" in honor of the more than 27,000 fans who donated in Patricia's memory.

There is also the Patricia Allen Fund, which benefits the critical care team. The fund has grown to more than $1.4 million.
