BUFFALO, N.Y. — A new way to provide healthy meals has come to D'Youville College in Buffalo. The new Food Farmacy officially opened on Monday.

The program is a collaboration between the college, Catholic Health and FeedMore Western New York to bring nutritious food to patients who are at risk of food insecurity and those from the community who are in need. Participants will get an assortment of fresh, healthy food every two weeks.

The Food Farmacy will also provide ongoing education about diet, exercise, symptom management and support to change behaviors and improve health outcomes.
