BUFFALO, N.Y. — ​Registration opens at 11 a.m. Thursday for the 126^th Turkey Trot.

While the race is set to take place in-person this year, there will also have an option for anyone who would rather run a virtual 5K.

The first 1,200 people to register will get a free pair of knit texting gloves.

Organizers for the Trot recommend securing your spot as soon as possible as the race sells out every year.
