BUFFALO, N.Y. — If you need an excuse to break out your platform shoes and bellbottoms, here it is.
The World’s Largest Disco is scheduled to take place in-person at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center on November 27.
The disco usually brings out about 7,000 people to downtown Buffalo, but coordinators help a virtual event last year during the ongoing pandemic.
This year, organizers are limiting attendance to 5,000 partygoers, which is subject to change with the ever-evolving guidelines from the state and the CDC.
The World’s Largest Disco raises money for Camp Good Days and Special Times, which helps kids affected by cancer.
Organizers expect to sell out this year. Tickets go on sale to the general public on August 21.
