ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — ​Orchard Park has a new superintendent in line for when the current one retires next month.

David Lilleck, who has served as an assistant superintendent with the district, was unanimously appointed by the Board of Education.

Lilleck has been an administrator and principal in Orchard Park, as well as a teacher in both the Clarence and Grand Island Central School Districts.

“I’m just incredibly honored and excited to build on this foundation we have here in Orchard Park and to continue to help us grow and make sure the needs of all of our students are met as we transition into this age of new normal,” Lilleck said.

Lilleck starts his new position on July 1.
