CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. — A new clinic to fight the coronavirus has opened up at Catholic Health's St. Joseph Campus in Cheektowaga.

It's called a COVID-19 Monoclonal Antibody Therapy Clinic.

It's designed for those who are 65 and older or have other chronic medical conditions that could lead to hospitalization.

The antibody treatment is given within 10 days of testing positive.

This is the second clinic by Catholic health here in Western New York.

Spectrum News is told they saw great success with their first which opened in January at Mount St. Mary’s Hospital in Niagara County.

Catholic Health says that those with COVID-19 who are interested in this treatment option should contact their primary physician to discuss a clinic referral.
