DEPEW, N.Y. — We have signs of spring this week, with the warm, sunny weather.
Plus ice cream shops are opening up, including Green Acres in Depew.
It’s the first scoop of the season for Green Acres, who open Friday, and have a lot of new things, including their jelly donut sundae, hot chocolate sundae, and four new Perry’s Ice Cream flavors.
They also opened up their driving range and mini-golf course a day early because of the warm weather.

The general manager says they’ve been busy getting ready for the season.
"It’s just a lot of re-organization. You have to put everything back together because everything is broken down at the end of the year so just touch up little things to make sure everything is perfect to start the years," said David Rutka, Green Acres general manager.
They ask people to wear their masks, social distance and just follow the arrows.
They are open from noon to 9 p.m. to start the season.
