HAMBURG, N.Y. — The Hilbert College Campus will soon have a new resource center thanks to a major grant.

The college was awarded $500,000 from the Mother Cabrini Health Foundation to create the Franciscan Advocacy and Resource Center.

The goal of the center is to help students overcome life issues, and offer support to allow them to transition into, and thrive in, school and beyond.

Hilbert says there will be five components to the center, a physical and mental health wellness center, an academic commons area, and a campus ministry outreach program that focuses on clothing and food insecurity.
