BUFFALO, N.Y. — Buffalo’s Pride Week will once again be virtual this year because of the pandemic.
The week-long celebration, hosted by the Evergreen Health Foundation, is typically held at the beginning of June, which is also Pride Month.
Spectrum News has learned that the decision was made based on current city, state, and public health guidance, and will not include in-person events, such as the annual Pride Parade or Pride Festival at Canalside.
Right now, the Pride Center is working with the community to create fun, engaging, and safe events for the LGBTQ+ community and its allies.
You can check out the center's website or social media for the latest developments.
