LANCASTER, N.Y. — You may know the history of the historic Hull Family Home and Farmstead.

According to their website, it’s the oldest fully restored stone dwelling in Erie County.

But do you know the haunted history?

There's actually quite a bit of ghostly history there. There have been multiple reports of people seeing apparitions and other paranormal occurrences.

That's why investigators from Paranormal Oddities in Depew will be there over the weekend, leading a paranormal tour of the house.

People who work here year-round say, through other paranormal investigations, they’ve also learned more about the house itself.

"And what’s interesting is, sometimes when it is happening and we are investigating, it doesn’t make sense," said Amy Hejmanowski, a docent at Hull House. "But then later, as we dig through some archives and look at some things, we are finding names are correlating to people that were here. It’s actually forcing us to open up more of the history and investigate exactly who lived here and what they did."

While the paranormal tours are sold out, you can also book private tours, which are offered year-round.
