Some of this month's cuts at Lox Salon will raise money for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, as customers can now purchase pink hair extensions to benefit the nonprofit.

"All of the stylists, including myself and my business partner, we’ve all been touched by somebody who has fought or beaten breast cancer," says owner Kindra Imhof. "It was just one way for us to give back as a small business."

The pink hair extensions cost $5 and can last for up to two months.
