The final tweet posted to Chadwick Boseman’s account is now the most-liked post in Twitter history.
The tweet was posted Friday, sharing the news of his passing and four-year fight with colon cancer. It currently has more than 6.6 million likes and 3 million retweets.
Twitter announced the historic news on Saturday, sharing on their official account, "Most liked tweet ever. A tribute fit for a King. #WakandaForever."
Twitter has since brought back the “Black Panther” hashtag emoji. According to the social media company, there were many fans organizing Black Panther Twitter watch parties using the Black Panther and Wakanda Forever hashtags.
The previous most-liked tweet was from former President Barack Obama in 2017 that included a quote by Nelson Mandela.
