Get your resumes ready! A drive-thru job fair is happening in Cheektowaga for jobs in the manufacturing field.

The job fair runs from 2-5 p.m. Wednesday in the Pro-Ampac parking lot, located at 25 French Road near Union.

Organizers say that it’s a way to get people back to work quickly while maintaining proper social distancing.

"Applicants remain in their car, pull up to the tent, interview with the hiring managers, and one of the clients we are working here, Pro-Ampac, they’re sending some hiring managers and they’re going to be making decisions about hiring right on the spot," said Darren Moscato, the franchise owner of Express Employment Professionals West Seneca.

The open positions will be for manufacturing jobs starting at $15-$20 an hour, and there will be more than 25 employers on hand looking to fill more than 100 jobs immediately.  

The event is free to attend. Those planning on going are asked to pre-register at 716jobs.com.
