Thursday is July 16, also known as 716 Day. And one popular local museum is getting ready for to embrace customers celebrating the city they love.
The Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum was working on some last minute cleaning, including polishing up the old carousel, a favorite of those both young and old.
They say since reopening, it's been slow, but is now starting to pick back up. The museum says that they are just happy to see their loyal customers once again.
"It means the world to us getting to see our guests again. We are a smaller local museum so a lot of our guests are members and so getting to see them year after year growing up on the carrousels...we truly try to treat everyone like family," Marissa Seib, Gift Shop manager, says.
In honor of 716 Day, adult admission will be $7.16 and everything in the gift shop will be 10 percent off.
