For anyone who parks on the street in the city of Buffalo, metered parking and alternate side parking rules will return as of Wednesday, July 1.

Mayor Byron Brown made the announcment on social media late last night.

The city decided to temporarily suspend those parking rules during the coronavirus shutdown.

Starting Wednesday, you may need to pay to park in certain areas and pay attention to signs saying which side of the street you can park on.

Mayor Brown is encouraging drivers to make paying for parking easier by using the Buffalo Roam mobile parking payment app, which is currently available in the Google Play and Apple App Stores.
