The welfare of hundreds of exotic animals is in jeopardy because of the coronavirus pandemic, according to a local animal handler.

Nickel City Reptiles & Exotics showcases around 500 animals at school programs, state shows and nursing homes year-round.

For the first time in two decades, the Animal Outreach Program has been put on hold because of the coronavirus.

Jeffrey Musial, also known as "The Animal Guy," says his business has now lost the revenue that would have helped him take care of the animals.

Musial has now turned to a GoFundMe page to raise the funds. Click here to donate.
