SMITHFIELD, N.C. (AP) — Two people are dead and a third person is wounded after a shooting in North Carolina which was described as a domestic incident, a sheriff’s office said.

The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office said it received a call early Tuesday about a shooting at a residence, news sources reported. The sheriff’s office said when deputies arrived, they found the bodies of Lindsay Rae Webb, 21, and William Kyle Parker, 23, dead from gunshots wounds.

Capt. Jeff Caldwell said Webb’s body was found in the front yard and Parker’s was in the back yard. Multiple guns were found on the scene, Caldwell told WTVD.

The sheriff’s office also said a 45-year-old man was shot in the arm and taken to the hospital and treated for his injuries.

Caldwell said the shooting was domestic and the two victims knew each other, but had no information on their relationship.
